Cool, putting the screen to sleep kills Bluetooth connections on iOS 11.
This weekend keeps getting better
@kaniini eh, they're going to repair it for me for 75$, which is about 100x better than any other board manufacturer I've dealt with in the past decade
@Aerdan huh, well that is both interesting and timely.
@xj9 @loke @Elizafox the point was more the typography and photography on Marble's site seems vastly better to me than Minuet's
A shame because both software are very good
@Elizafox oh cool, that works then ๐๐ป
@Elizafox what if I don't want to give oral to RRNR?
@Elizafox how do I level up my Tulsan
How do I check my current level?
Is my knowledge of the fact there used to be an Allstate next to the Panera on 41st and the Richardson Asian Art Museum mean I have a higher level than you, or a lower one?
Are lower numbers or higher numbers better?
Is there a maximum level you can attain?
Do you get to make out with the Driller in front of the fairgrounds if you attain the maximum level?
> typo `unset XAUTHORITY` as `unset AUTHORITY`
Oh dammit, I just gave the ancaps what they wanted.
@wxcafe @calvin that's not entirely trueโฆ
In the Linux space you have musl which shoves glitch under the bus and basically pretends to be NetBSD and tries very hard to exactly match ISO C and POSIX.
Meanwhile, glibc 3's supposed new goal is a new namespace (GLIBC_3_0 iirc) that implements clean POSIX APIs, no 2.x baggage unless you enable it (which almost all distros will, but the option IS there).
People implement Linux because Linux now implements POSIX.
"No part of this publication may be stored in an electronic retrieval system."
Says the UNIX specification that is only available as a PostScript file.
@loke @Elizafox the thing is, KDE very obviously have a talented team of web designers. Look at this thing!!
Simple, says everything you need, does not bring my dual core CPU to its knees rendering it or use dumb tracking beacons.
Btw, uBlock notes that not only is Minuet doing YouTube beacons - it's trying to load privacy-invading DoubleClick ads! There are so many other, more ethical ad vendors.
It's time to sing the distro developer's blues:
๐ต nobody knows the troubles I've seenโฆ
@golf_oil @Elizafox well there's two things to consider:
It doesn't even know about updates unless your distro's package manager integrates with PackageKit AND all of the correct modules are all installed and have all their reps satisfied;
And the fact that muon still only tells you there are updates. It can't install them for you unless you enter your password (and PolKit allows it).
Tl;dr no.
Tired: @Elizafox
Wired: Elizafax
@sharkgirl not gonna lie btw I read this as "BSD Cucumber" twice and thought they made a new IoT vibrator with NetBSD.
Of course it runs NetBSDโข
@sharkgirl body dysmorphic disorder is a horrible condition and very sad, but there is hope and treatment.
cucumbers are kinda gross. but I know people who like them.
ok ok I'll stop. I could never get in to Cucumber during my tenure with Rails but the idea of BDD is sound. I still prefer TDD just because that's what I learned first so it makes the most sense to me.
Best served cold. #pixelart #dotpict #ใใใ็ตต
