@switchingsocial thats a good point and am glad you are making it. I was really excited about the Project Ara phone (before I was so aware of google being such an active enemy) for the ability of to have people replace parts independently. I am also really excited for the prospect of home chip fab projects but we are a ways off from that. Its true that focusing on one issue at a time is more straight forward. I could have made my point in less of a meme / ridicule-y way.

@honkhoncho pretty much agree with that though it would probably be most useful in how tags currently work with the fedi to default to the tag going to an individual user so if I tagged something #photo it would link to honk.best/users/wakest/tag/photo
