I have no idea if this is legit but someone has said that a collection of NES-style shooter music tracks on OpenGameArt is violating their copyright. I used these tracks for a game jam years ago and I like them a lot so I hope it isn't true. the tracks are on Google Play, which I don't subscribe to, so I can't listen for myself.

sometimes you find a cluster of butternut squash sprouts in the compost pile.

got an interesting side table from the side of the road earlier in the week. some sanding and two coats of oil finish and it is usable again.

I used to work with a guy that went to a bagel place for lunch sometimes and they would often give him a free piece of chocolate. I also go to the same place for lunch sometimes and they have *never* given me a piece of chocolate. until today. I'm in shock. did I unlock an achievement? what did I do to finally deserve a piece of chocolate?

@Pixley this is my first attempt! I got 6 tubers from ebay recently.

I'm still waiting on my chinese yam (dioscorea polystachya) tubers to show signs of growth but apparently they are late starters.

early spring is a fun time of year because almost every day there's a new plant emerging. one of my groundnut (apios americana) tubers has started to grow its vine! and one of the angel's trumpet seeds I got from my mom has germinated.

having a normal one

first lounging in a lawn chair day of the year even though it is a bit chilly. feeling much better than yesterday. began cleaning up garden beds and sowed some carrots and greens. the soil in the sheet mulched beds is thawing and the soil looks incredible. sheet mulching with wood chips really works!

I managed to do another thing today. I setup my first cattle panel arbor for a concord grape to grow on.
