Nothing says “fascist government” quite like trying to pass laws that specifically target anti-fascists.

Seeing how deeply oblivious people are about the inner workings of the neoliberal system is both frightening and fascinating. Some friends of mine were chatting about Amazon (because prime days), afraid of "the consequences of such concentration of wealth" and wondering "how did Bezos become a multi-billionaire in just 12 years", yet they somehow couldn't connect the dots... Debord was right: the spectacle is invisible to those living in it.

Okay, let's say I want to start a tech cooperative. Where do I even start?

Does anyone know of a Code of Conduct which assumes experience is subjective and focuses on how to reduce negative interactions cooperatively?

All the ones I come across focus on particular acts, and rely on bureacracy/admins for resolution.

Hi all,
Happy to be part of social co-op. I am a UK based blockchain enthusiast and developer. Currently studying MSc Cyber Security. Am intereseted in left wing ideas, in particular how they can be achievd using modern tech (blockchain). Am also interested in visual arts - especially photography, cinema and eastern philosophy amongst other things.

#Loomio just crashed my phone so hard I had to hold the power button down to force a hard reset. Quite frankly, the UX is difficult and painful on desktop, while being considerably worse (and WAAAY slower) on mobile. This is worth noting when considering questions of #socialcoop engagement.

Now, instead of scrolling down on a thread to wait ten seconds for Loomio to load each group of 5 comments, I'm going outside.

It would be nice to see more #socialcoop related discussion taking place here on the platform. Could we decide upon hashtags to stick to so that relevant toot/reply threads here can be used more easily to inform decisions?

We could have one for each working group or project:

These could also be used to crosspost updates to Masto from the proposed Weekly Updates thread on Loomio.
