@verius @maiyannah @purplehippo @katiekats Yep, the problem with all 3 is that there have been times in the past when each have been overlooked as just 'things that happen', despite the harm that they can cause.

Regular ol' gay and lesbian people aren't anywhere near as unacceptable as they once were, so the ones who were just supporting it to be alternative and different don't feel like they're getting the attention from it that they used to.
The ones who actually felt for the cause and simply wanted to be treated like people are less vocal now, as (to some extent) what they were fighting for has been reached. This leaves the... other folk.
How would THEY get that attention again? Add more things from the list that societies have labelled as wrong. Currently, that 'plan' seems to centre around those who like children, corpses or cattle.
