@phryk @aeonofdiscord @TrollDecker oh, it doesn't crash or anything, just the terminal emulator hecks it up and also the word wrapping seems to break sometimes. unicode AND ansi escapes together make for a bothersome situation

@aeonofdiscord presently, I just strip all html - should probably handle newlines a bit better. I haven't really gotten to "how to actually print api return objects" yet, mostly tried to make a decent and halfway flexible terminal GUI. I'll probably have to implement one basic printing method for every kind of returned object, eventually.

@TrollDecker my status prettyprinter is extremely basic, yeah - internally that status is a status-type object with the contents of the boosted toot but you in the account. not hard to print it properly, I just... haven't gotten to that yet

(the command line in the lower area is literally just a python prompt with some mangling so that you don't have to type "mastodon." all the time and for quickly refering to the scratch pad contents)

I haven't actually tried sending toots from it, does this work?

(and yes, the app title in the top right palette-rotates while your commands are processed)
