@claudiom What exactly do they mean about a "fingerprint bug"?
I don't see any details (or a link to read more) and haven't heard (or experienced) a bug related to fingerprints on Android 10 on my OnePlus 6T. 🤷♂️
(Meanwhile, my girlfriend still hasn't gotten the update, so it does seem paused if you and her haven't gotten it yet. Either that, or it's a very slow rollout.)
**Germany celebrates 30th anniversary of Berlin Wall's fall**
"Germany on Saturday marked the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall that separated East and West Germany, with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier thanking Eastern European neighbours for enabling a peaceful revolution. "
@theoutrider I'm not sure how it's possible to do this in an easy, graphical way on Linux, but you can have VPNs start automatically for all network connections using a dispatcher:
On GNOME, at least, you can tell it to automatically start a VPN per wifi config. Not sure how to do that by default for all WiFi except your own WiFi, hence linking the above script.
@n8 "In the pilot episode, 'Caretaker', USS Voyager departs the Deep Space Nine space station on a mission… While in the Badlands, Voyager is enveloped by a powerful energy wave that kills several of its crew, damages the ship, and strands it in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant, more than 70,000 light-years from Earth."
@directhex A lot of older stlye RPG games (and Pokémon) just have you walk around and talk with people. You can probably use one hand and take turns on the sides for movement and actions for many of the games... at least on smaller consoles (3DS) or controllers.
Some of the older Final Fantasy games remade for phones when let you tap where you want to go and tap to interact. (They might even be ideal for an actual game on a phone.)
@directhex Also, don't forget a bunch of phone games. Many work well one handed.
It may help to to lay the phone down on a table or a laptop lap stand (one of those cushioned trays for using laptops in bed would be perfect) so you can have the phone angled and not have to actively hold it.
@directhex That list is old, so there are probably more games. I've seen elsewhere that Mario Tennis has a swing mode that apparently works with one joycon.
(People also mention 1-2 Switch, which is accurate, but it's generally awful and should be avoided... unless you can get it free and treat it as a tech demo and play with someone else too. Otherwise: Ugh.)
@directhex Pokémon Let's Go is one handed with a joycon (either) in docked mode. Or a Pokeball Plus.
Two player games with joycons to point probably work too. The only one I can think of right now is World of Goo. (I haven't played the Switch version.)
Some PSVR games are one handed with Moves. (Especially some gun games like Pixel Gear. I think Carnival Games is mostly one handed too — with the exception of climbing. Both of these are a bit cheesy, but can be left-handed.)
