This is a pretty compelling reason. Esp. if you are writing open source code.

@n8 I 100% believe you that it creates corrupt files.
I was just wondering if there's a specific reason pertaining to your computer's setup or your build of Firefox as to why you get corrupted database files and I (and many others) don't.
It could also be some random bug your profile data is triggering too, but that's probably harder to diagnose.
@claudiom You could always try Adwaita again. After the recent refresh, it's quite nice and modern feeling. (It's default, of course... and has a dark variant too.)
Arc is one of the best modern feeling custom themes. (@ https://github.com/NicoHood/arc-theme & usually in most distros too)
Lastly, there's Oomox if you want a custom theme derived from a handful of supported ones, including GNOME-Colors & Shiki. (https://github.com/themix-project/oomox — available for various distros & compilation too).
@n8 I never get SQLite DB corruptions in Firefox... but I have questions that might help diagnose the issue:
1. How old is your profile?
2. What filesystem are you using?
3. Are you using Firefox Sync?
4. Have you tried "refreshing" Firefox? (Found on the top-left after going to about:support)
5. Which distro?
6. Is this the distro's package of Firefox or the official tarball or a Flatpak?

@sesivany We've had bees visiting our balcony garden quit a bit in the past several years. Our balcony included and currently includes lavender, sunflowers, and several other types of flowering plants.
This year? We haven't had any bees. There's even been a near lack of (annoying) wasps.
Just a few hoverflies stopped by. (And a butterfly and a couple mosquitoes.)
There's a *very* noticeable lack of insects this year, especially bees. 😱

The best part of the walk was my journey back where I saw loads of sheep grazing and it's lambing season so there was lambs everywhere. They were all talking to me, and some of the lambs were no bigger than cats and my heart was melting all the way through this valley because some of them came to me and there were no walls or anything. They had a massive hill to just chill on and it was super cute omg omg omg SHEEPS
@federicomena Here's an article on X-trans issues: https://petapixel.com/2017/01/27/x-trans-promise-problem/
It's pixel-peeping at the default JPEGs and comparing them with darktable raw processing (using an older/default/fast but good processing engine, which is swappable for each image if you wish).
This is the only blemish the Fujis really have, and it's not _so_ bad.
@federicomena @n8 @paperdigits Fuji's sensor alternative to Bayer pixel alignment makes its noise output more film-like, BTW.
There are pros and cons to the different layout, but this is a pro.
(Cons would be difficulty in image processing of raw files, especially lack of speed. Faster computers since X-trans was introduced and better algorithms, such as those featured in darktable, have mostly fixed up speed and quality though.)
@theoutrider The new Raspberry Pi 4 looks nice.
Judging from the specs & write-ups, I wouldn't be surprised if it is more powerful and feels snappier than @Auriel's old EeeBox desktop machine. 😁
…It's also making wonder if it's soon time to replace my Banana Pi Pro server.
@federicomena FWIW, darktable is fantastic (especially master) and handles Fuji raw files well.
But, yeah, I agree with @aperezdc — nothing beats the speed of processing raws when the files are already JPEG (and not raw). 😉
I'm sitting on a huge pile of raw files that I haven't processed yet. Any modern camera can get you in that dilemma and Fuji gives you great JPEGs for the times you don't need raw (or are fine with raw+jpeg).
@federicomena Full frame mirrorless and compatible with Nikon lenses basically means Sony, I think.
If full frame isn't needed, there's Fuji for APS-C (perhaps with a focal reducer adapter) or jump beyond full frame and go with a Fuji medium format camera.
(FWIW, I'm happy with my Fuji X-T2, but it isn't full frame. I switched from a Canon 5DmkII and haven't missed full frame, especially since the Fujis are much smaller and lighter.)
@directhex The best substitute meat I've had was:
1. Wheat based vegan sausages, spiced similar to the real thing
2. BBQ pulled jackfruit (instead of pork) sandwich
3. Various Quorn products, including fake chicken, ground beef, & sausages
Most of these were using spices or sauces, covering up any possibly slightly inauthentic flavor, making these drop-in replacements.
Haven't had a convincing beef burger patty though. (But options are limited, due to my soy allergy.)
@directhex (She also makes nice veggie burgers at home too, so our standards are probably a bit too high. We both like the burger format, just not the meat.)
