@ThatGeoGuy @sconlan I opted not to copy my mute lists. I'm sure they would have copied over correctly had I wanted to do so.

But, yeah, I copied over my following and blocked lists and that was pretty much it. Some instances running newer software have an option to show that you've permanently moved to a new account, but making a public post and leaving it as your final post would work almost as effectively, I think.

Except, as per the article, this isn't really bad news for the Liberals, since our first-past-the-post system means the 49% of voters who want a change are split between at least 3-4 other parties. And many of those people will "strategically" vote Liberal anyway, to prevent the Conservatives from getting elected.

You can now set your commute preferences (both in terms of transit time and form of transportation: driving, public transit or walking) and limit your job search to jobs that fit that criteria.

Unfortunately, it's entirely binary. You can't say "a 15 minute drive and/or 30 minute walk," nor is there an option for cycling. Still, it's neat that they've added this feature. I still mostly hate/don't use LinkedIn, though.

This guy had a job where he literally got paid to do nothing, except that he had to show up to an office and sit there for a 8 hours a day. No wonder it turned out to be way more soul-crushing than he expected.

@kepstin Yeah, my experience is definitely not universal. And I often regret opening them, but I don't seem to learn.

CWs aren't so much a way of hiding triggering content as they are dare. I almost can't see one without clicking it, even if I know I won't like what I see and/or could potentially get in trouble for opening it at work.
