It pretty much tastes like pepsi. Maybe a little less acidic.
I can see the appeal in the 90s though, as a marketing trick. I remember when I was a kid, the thinking in my family regarding sodas was like this:
Brown soda = Has caffeine, bad for the kids, limit how much the kids drink, especially in the evenings
Clear soda = No caffeine, okay for kids
Of course, I wanted to drink Coke or Pepsi most of the times, but I couldn't. Maybe that perception was common and Pepsi thought they could sidestep it with Crystal Pepsi.
Now, people are little wiser to the idea that caffeine could be in anything, with energy drinks coming in all colors. -

In recent months I've made my peace with continuing in arcade games. Before I struggled to enjoy them because I've always felt like the only real play was single credit. And the well designed ones at least must be designed to be technically beatable on a single credit. But they are not balanced to be fair and fun for someone to learn to beat on a single credit. On the other hand they are easily ruined by credit feeding, especially for someone like me that's at least as motivated in games by discovery as by mastery.
Now my new way to deal with that conundrum feeds back my frustration in the decision as to whether to use a credit. If I feel like I'm frustrated in a way that I would shove another credit in a machine if it actually cost me money, I use an extra credit, if I feel like I'm not out of my depth in the game, that I can probably stretch the next credit far. If I feel the game has actually defeated me, if I know instinctively that if I put another credit in, I will lose it in a minute or so, then it's game over. -

I rarely get angry. It really take a lot to make me angry. My former landlord has managed to do it.
One month ago I asked him if he could check with the next tenant if he wanted some of the furniture I'd be replacing. He said he'd check, I didn't get an answer. Then 3 weeks ago just after I moved I told him what I left in the apartment and told him I could come move out the next sunday whatever the next tenant didn't want. He said he'd check with the next tenant, I didn't get an answer. Today, three weeks after the move, one month after I asked him, he finally texts me the tenant just wants x and y, that I have to come take out the rest. -

@Moon @triodug Here, there's a sitcom from the 90's called "La Petite Vie" that was absolutely BELOVED by everyone when it aired; all classes of society watched it and found it hilarious, it has had a massive impact on our culture.
Sometimes they still air episodes of it nowadays, watching it is really strange. It feels like the whole province must have been high or something for a decade because not a single joke lands anymore. It's mortifying.
