@Moon @shmibs Put one portal to a wall, the other to a panel (wood, gypsum, whatever the portal gun works on) large enough that you can hold it by its side ouside of the portal. Hold panel by the edges front of you, drop pants, put butt to first portal, put second panel to penis, move panel back and forth.

I know it's not impossible to have furniture shipped without damage. I got last week a desk off Amazon, quite cheap for the size, heavier than the IKEA coffee table, from a dodgy chinese brand. It arrived next day for free* (free with my Prime subscription), in perfect condition.
Honestly, I don't want to like shopping at Amazon. But their logistics are so far ahead of everyone else, it's embarassing. I'm not comparing them to a small local shop here, I'm comparing them to another massive global company.

@wowaname Used furniture is often a great deal, because as with other bulky items the person selling it often wants it gone more than they want a price reflecting the quality of the item they're selling.

@why Yeah, I suppose. Ultimately this ends up affecting these businesses because it updates my opinion of them when I have a negative experience, and I do share those opinions and experiences with others. But that effect is probably cancelled and more by "Karen Mode" experts who do complain, get exactly what they wanted, and still bitch about their experience to others, so there's not much incentive there for them to do right if they end up eating the reputation cost either way.
So to make things right and make sure their support is incentivized to keep being good, I should at least be clear:
IKEA shipped a damaged table, it took them 2 weeks to ship a replacement that was even more damaged. That sucked. But their customer service shipped the replacement without arguing, and agreed to refund the shipping as I requested without arguing. That's good.

Sometimes I'm way too reasonable and put up with too much for things I legitimately should go Karen Mode on.
IKEA delivered a second damaged tabletop, and all I asked is that they refund me the shipping cost so I'll take an Uber and go replace it in store.
Honestly, I should have been asking for them to refund the Uber too.

Watched the Sonic 2 movie last weekend. It was alright. The whole Hawaii marriage subplot felt weird and out of place, as if there was a contractual obligation for these actors to be in the movie; as soon as that subplot ends these characters just disappear from the plot entirely, there isn't even a slightest shout out to them at the end or anything. Some of the story beats, especially around that subplot are nonsensical. It feels like something that was clumsily grafted on to the movie, but on the other hand I'm trying to imagine it without that subplot and I think the story would be maybe too obviously barren without it.
When it focuses on Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and especially Jim Carey's Robotnik, it's a lot like the first one though; simple, unpretentious, respectful of the source material without exaggerating the pandering.
First one was a better movie, but the second one didn't fuck it all up either, it's just not as good.
