@roka @tijagi I've never owned a casio analogue, but I'm sure it keeps good time.
but the images and youtube videos I can find suggest it looks maybe a little cheaper (the "gold" in particular) than this image suggests. and the wrist bands might take some time to "break in," since none of the irl pics I can find of it on someone's wrist show it fully flush around the circumference of the wrist.
but I could be wrong on all these points.

@roka too strong on the de-lime?

@dirb @thatbrickster GS is a known cell. wearing casio is akin to a secret handshake. use of old thinkpads also seems to apply here.
-
everyone knows only terrorists wear casio watches

@roka @shpuld yes.

I've not used nmh in years. pretty awesome MUA. I kinda miss it ...
-
@roka @shpuld the only reason I switched away from this model is because wearing the watch on the inside of my wrist pushes buttons. it happened enough to annoy me. it was an otherwise perfect watch, and I actually preferred it to what I have now. (unusually, the watch thickness is the same for both models.)

@zep @shpuld @roka didn't know there was such a thing.
-
@tijagi @shpuld @roka I'm not even sure I still have mine.
If I do, it's buried at my parents' place and would consider it gone. (I think we once talked about houses with too much junk. ;; )

@shpuld @roka besides, I only wear cheap casios. (so I have no class.) I've not had a watch like this in years, and seeing this one reminded me one I used to have. that one retained its face, but the mechanism bound up -- it was older than I was.

@roka @shpuld sorry, I meant the situation. cheap or not, you liked it.
