I asked Steve (@docbaty) at the after-party last night if he thought my opening keynote at @UXAustralia would lose him sponsors next year. His response brought tears to my eyes. Be like Steve.
āSo if people heard the message that you said, Aral, in your keynote and their response was āwell I want nothing to do with that conferenceā, well in all honesty, fuck āem.ā ā @docbaty
Met such wonderful people and had such a lovely time at #UXAustralia ā couldnāt have asked for a better event to launch Small Technology Foundation at (https://small-tech.org).
Thank you all for being so awesome and thank you, Deb, for your beautiful sketch-notes from my talk :)
@adamprocter Ah, I see what the problem is, Iād assumed that making a group public would set the projects in it public also but alas that is not the case. Give me a secā¦ :)
@jamesmullarkey No reason why not :) Although perhaps Tincan would be a better fit in the future. But yeah, part of the fun is seeing what it enables. There will hopefully be things I havenāt even thought of :)
@inhji Hey, thatās awesome to hear. We use Hugo for a number of things so expect even more seamless support in the future ;)
Regarding issues: Enabling Github mirrors is on my near-term todo list. Once thatās done, thatāll be the best place to report. I really want to create a bare-bones single-tenant Git server with decentralised merge requests but it will take me a little time to get to that :)
In the meanwhile, please feel free to ping me here and Iāll create issues :)
