@xahlee Could not predict the details, but 1993-1994 is when I had a feminism / gender studies class and learned that everything wrong with the world was my fault as a straight male. This was followed by a race studies class where I learned that it wasn't really my fault because I'm not White.
@mattskala i was in college back in 1994. I think it wasn't that extreme. Today sjw situation, i think is the next generation, the millennials, indeed, the millennials. Roughly, those born after 1990.
Arianna Huffington, created the Huffington Post in 2005. It grew and grew, and under capitalism became this big media fuck just like every other. Exactly how, nobody understands.
@SLRock am in Mountain View, Cali! the center of sillicon google twitter facebook sjw programmers we-care-for-the-poor-and-weak-and-women-and-blacks-and-we-try-to-help-and-if-you-disagree-you-must-die valley ! :D
Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) refer to the idea that China and India will, by 2050, become the world's dominant suppliers of manufactured goods and services, respectively, while Brazil and Russia will become similarly dominant as suppliers of raw materials.
but still, i think the most important reason is that USA is today the most powerful and rich country. (this includes Canada, and UK and some other in Europe)
i think historically, the big picture is that people always migrate to the most powerful and affluent place.
but i think one thing we agree for sure is that the sjw liberal is fucking it up.
@SLRock i think most people wanting to move to USA is because: ① usa is the most rich/powerful country.
② due to historical causes, usa is a country pretty unique in that it is made of diff ethnicities. Immegration is how usa is founded/grows.
③ USA is capitalism. Which means, money talks, over other factors. So, if one have $$, it's good in usa. (as opposed to, say, Russia, or Japan, China, which have things other than just money that govern one's wellfare)
• focus window (pretty much a X window thing only) • activate/raise window. • auto-click, aka hover-click (Mac calls dwell) (when pointer moves and stopped, it does a click automatically.)
to me, the focus-only is utterly useless (yegge praises it). But the raise window, either by auto-raise or auto-click, is extremely significant for me. Saves me hand pain of literally hundreds of clicking.
