interested in the visuals — though you need *something* to show on
screen — you are talking about a *linguistically* distinguishable thing.

@natecull Um, I think you're misusing the word "glyph". Comic Sans's majestic capital A is a different glyph than Tragic Avec's loser of a captial A, according to my understanding of the term.

@natecull The reason I switched my Chinese tea passion project from Perl to Python years ago wasn't that I was smitten with Python's surface syntax; it was Python3's Unicode support that smote me.
