i’ve also been really excited about peer-to-peer tech that uses the browser as its execution context, like the web apps you can peer using the beaker browser. dat provides a distributed filesystem as a mutable torrent, allowing you to publish the equivalent of a magnet link while retaining write access to the torrent. serve web apps this way, and they can generate their own apps and give them their own torrents. a peerful web is possible, using software that already exists. we got this ✊️❤️
@Nomys_Tempar yeah you're right, the colour code is very subjective but I was thinking of the more open (i.e. less restrictions), the better. About the update, it's just that I thought that CC 2.0 was rather old.
@Nomys_Tempar thanks or the link, great tool to learn about different licences I did not know existed. It's a shame there isn't an updated version with newer licence versions, with a column for derivatives publicly distributed, and a better colour code to show good vs in the middle vs bad (like in Wikipedia comparison tables). Surprised Wikipedia does not have such a table, actually.
