@natejms My 2 cents - stick with Mastodon. You already know it and can be a guide for new people. One of the major problems with FOSS federated social media is getting enough users, so counterproductive to encourage usr of another system. Just a thought.

@ink_slinger Knowing your preferences, I'd recommend against it. They are cheap, but you are locked into the Amazon ecosystem.
I've had a few, and my favorite is my Samsung - That company makes really nice electronics for good prices.
