Never was a Unity fan, but I actually kind of love the Mutiny layout in Ubuntu Mate.

It is deeply bogus that most of all savings accounts earn less than inflation, so actually lose value over time. What is this nonsense? Guess we should be investing in beanie babies or star wars figurines or something. (Just kidding. Mostly.)

I'm digging into building static web sites with Jekyll. I started with hand coding web sites in simple html, and then used wordpress for years. I'm pretty excited about a groovy hybrid of the two.

Ogling used system 76 laptops on ebay this morning... So close, yet so not in the budget quite yet.

Hello! Welcome to nerd land! :)

Even with a fresh install my computer isn't as snappy as I'd like. Granted, it is a 2011 Macbook Air, so not the fastest stick in the box no matter what. But waiting for computers to do stuff makes me cranky. Might be time to hone my i3 wm skills and skip the graphical UI altogether.

Did a fresh install of Ubuntu Mate 18.04. I do love a clean refresh of the machine once in a while.

Ha! That's funny. The rug is small, actually, but now I prefer to pretend that the rug goes in my living room and the mouse is the size of a small horse.

Check out the groovy retro stylings of my new mouse from the computer recycling / thrift shop. My prize to myself after doing stupid paperwork this morning.

Yes! I'm having the same thing on Firefox and Brave on Linux. It works fine on the Tusky app on Android though.

It works fine with Tusky on Android, but doesn't work on Firefox or Brave browers.
