@GardenOfForkingPaths ...actually, that definition seems...empty.

@robots is there an anime that would give a *worse* reaction, aside from maybe boku or something equally weird?

terrible idea of the day:
In #haskell, use https://github.com/harpocrates/inline-rust to include some inline #rust code in an otherwise normal Haskell program. However, the inline rust code uses https://gitlab.com/jD91mZM2/jrust to add a whole additional level of 'what the fuck why' with code looking similar to #java embedded as inline Rust inside some Haskell.Can we do weirder and more fucky or should I stop now?

@iliana @hirojin The Portal 2 quote is very appropriate for this kind of madness. If you want to take it to the next level of dark magics have something like this: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/inline-java

@powersurf They can imitate your profile...but it won't be totally convincing because of the different instance names.

@bobstechsite Gitea and Gogs are very closely related, the former being a fork of the latter. IMO given svn over git, while the latter is 'overkill' for a single-user project nothing is really gained by using SVN but you do lose some of git's features. However this is not specifically a git advantage.

@rysiek @bobstechsite @calvin ooh, i have an idea. Let's use an RCS 'repository' accessed/mounted over sshfs or ftp! We get a half-assed reinvention of CVS.

@bobstechsite Indeed, gitlab is heavyweight and overkill for the 'i have some personal repos to host' usage. For that there's gogs/gitea and gitweb (and maybe rhodecode if you care about svn).

@calvin @bobstechsite hm, I think IBM's ClearCase would be the closest maybe? or the other IBM one if i knew more.

@calvin @bobstechsite what if it's non-windows? what shit VCS can fill the role there?

@bobstechsite why would you make yourself suffer by using SVN

Right, so #lumina is only segfaulting when started via start-lumina-desktop and GDB's useless on release builds. Time to get a debug one....
