@HTHR heylo! Been on and off mostly because the mobile web app is annoying and I haven't taken the time to install an actual mastodon app on my phone yet. Spent 5 hours yesterday trying to understand why modern operating systems are so godawful at audio. Results inconclusive

@kaniini@authorchrislester this isn't to say I don't have the greatest respect for all of the people working at patreon—but my personal feelings don't change the way the userbase as a whole feels betrayed, and with good reason.
@authorchrislester@kaniini corporations aren't people, dude. this was a complete failure in corporate messaging and incident response. A delayed response here has already done immeasurable harm to the userbase's trust in patreon. it's not on us to rebuild that trust—it's *their* responsibility.
