@dredmorbius I'm using it 🖐️ Its layout reminds Pinterest, it's written in Django and Vue.js, it federates with diaspora and will very soon federate with ActivityPub networks. Still in early development stage. I have hopes it will be both Instagram and Fb replacement: it's macroblogging, so no character limitations. GNU Social (https://git.gnu.io) and Pleroma (https://git.pleroma.social) repo certs seem to have expired. I'm getting an error. #gnusocial #pleroma

@xuv There were other propositions (link in issue): https://gitlab.com/fediverse/fediverse.gitlab.io/issues/2 The one for fediverse.party was created to fit into site design, not intentionally a proposition :) Fediverse is bigger than AP, a significant number of active users still connecting via diaspora protocol (to the networks that support it), and Zot protocol being quite promising. Probably makes sense to promote all of them

@dreena Depends on your goals. If reaching out to Mastodon, GNU Social, Pleroma is of paramount importance, then Friendica - diaspora is connected only to Friendica, Hubzilla, GangGo and Socialhome. If it's not important, then try out Friendica (and Hubzilla? since you already know diaspora) to decide which interface and set of features you prefer. All of them have minor drawbacks but it's hard to describe all of them here - because character limits:)

@puckipedia 🤩 Icon "mrgreen" is my favourite smiley ever! This one has some rough edges around it, but it still looks better than any of the current "smiling" emojos!

@D3 Ah! It's a pity the current diaspora team do not celebrate this date officially. Perhaps they will remember about it in November 😃

If you ever print these or other promotional materials, would be great if you share a photo. Last year browsing through FOSDEM tag I came across a Socialhome sticker (guess it was dada 's laptop) and it made my day 😊
