I have a lot on my mind (I have a small team working on Making TV! I have more podcasts to write! I have infrastructure to build!)

But one thing that I keep coming back to in my head is The Internet and how it could Change or Go Away at the whims of those above us.

I'm really trying to figure out what to do about that.

My answers almost always come back to offline intranets with LAN sharing + sneakernets.

I think about this a lot, and I'd love to talk about it more.

It requires no login, basically you provide an email address, you get a unique editing URL, you make a nice looking event form, and people can RSVP there. Your event and all related info is deleted from their DB 2 weeks after the event is over.

I wish there was a graphical UI system that was designed from the start to be really efficient to use by keyboard. Ideally, with some of the same interaction modes as Emacs

@djsundog I find this pretty interesting; I'm really motivated to find an alternate input method for mobile. I'm currently working on my MessagEase speed[1]. My best is 40WPM, but I've only hit that on a sample text that I've practiced a lot.
