    Thought: if Disney had been in a rush, they couldn't have bought an area of Florida the size of a small country and turned it into the gigantically successful resort that it is. (They had to be more than that. Even without reading about it, I'm certain they had to spin up a few shell companies and make sure no one connected the purchases to theme parks until they already had the land they wanted.)

    #Russia may not be in a position to “project power” into the region, but the #Houthis’ leaders should be smart enough to know that Russia gets drawn into the conflict, #Putin isn’t going to try to observe international legal niceties like the #US and #UK would.

    I suspect that they will require him to lose weight before they will operate. He admits to being 100lb overweight. (Many heavy people shave a significant fraction off the number they acknowledge.)

    My nephew’s doctor discovered a congenital condition that could require surgery. He’s 32, so nearing the age (40) where they won’t operate because the surgery itself is often fatal.
