“El secreto de una vida plena es vivir y relacionarse con los demás como si tal vez no estén allí mañana, como si vos quizás no estés ahí mañana. Elimina el vicio de la procrastinación, el pecado de la postergación, comunicaciones fallidas, comuniones fallidas. Este pensamiento me ha vuelto cada vez más atenta a todos los encuentros, reuniones, presentaciones o introducciones que podrían contener la semilla de la profundidad, que podría ser descuidadamente pasada por alto. Esta sensación se ha tornado una rareza, y progresivamente más infrecuente ahora que hemos alcanzado un ritmo más acelerado y superficial, ahora que creemos que estamos en contacto con una mayor cantidad de personas, con más gente, con más países. Esta es la ilusión que podría estafarnos y privarnos de estar profundamente en contacto con quien respira a nuestro lado. Son tiempos peligrosos cuando voces mecánicas, radios y teléfonos toman el lugar de intimidades humanas, y el concepto de estar en contacto con millones trae una pobreza cada vez más grande en auténtica intimidad y visión humana.”
