@roko @delores Yeah, it's the problem that I'll have when finding another job. Right now, I'm looking at some volunteering opportunities but even that can be stressful. Especially with my social anxiety. I also know what it is like to feel so stressed out that you want to kill yourself... that was me with college so education isn't a good fit. Even now, there is a part of me that gets triggered over that time. Building something slowly might be best...
-
@delores @roko Hmm... it might take some time to adjust but it might equally not be the right type of job for you. Especially to rush into it for so long. I think that would stress me out too so I wouldn't say you just need to get used to it. You need to find something that can accommodate your anxiety and stress levels. All I can think is to have a word with your boss, see what they can do... and if there is nothing then it might be best to look elsewhere. See what they come up with first if you think you can trust them. Hope it goes well.

Sometimes when I feel overloaded, there is a place that I like to walk to that helps for a while.
-
@delores @roko How flexible is your work environment? It might be worth trying to go part-time, or seeing if you can take some work home if it is like an office job. I don't think you are trying to justify being a neet again... the work environment is a very stressful place and you need to build some tools to help yourself handle it. I'm not sure how I managed mine in the past. But I do feel like the routine and fresh air and exercise of walking helped me. That would take time to set in.

@mangeurdenuage How early is it for you? :') G'night! Sweet dreams!
-
I guess this is fixed on pleroma because it does pull replies in a thread. GS doesn't do that though. You just get cut off.Â
-
I don't think there is remote reply either...
-
Maybe I should have responded through shitposter instead.
-
The problem when threads are broken or the instance doesn't recognise someone is that it is really hard to follow the thread and respond to the right post. :s

Basically my country didn't have all the racial problems USA had but now we're starting to have them because muh identity politics
We used to get along just fine and just fight over football or which is the best province until retards sparked racial animosity

Shocker, EU says Brexit can be cancelled. That's how much they value sovereignty.
-
@detectivehyde I agree. Life really is too short to be held back in this way. Far better to stand on your own merits and integrity/virtue.
-
TFW I don't even realise I've faved something that I didn't intentionally want to fave. Sorry guys. u_u
-
@zaitcev @moonman RIP. Then they just used the loli as an excuse perhaps. Had someone look into it but I can't recall the thread now.
-
@moonman @zaitcev I think there was a post that depicted a sexualised loli at one point which got linked. I don't know how we got on their radar though.
-
@thisisleeloo @snail Stop, being vilified by the bad guys so much is going to make me blush, uguuuu~
-
@snail You're the one that implied, "If you don't respect culture then you are racist." This is a shaming tactic and it is manipulative. I called you out on your bullshit where you demand respect which you didn't like. It really is no better than someone in a position of authority demanding you respect them by virtue of their authority over you. I've seen enough of this shit which is why it is infuriating to see it perpetuated. Perhaps you don't even realise how authoritarian it sounds. Respect must always be earned, never a given which is easily abused and taken advantage of. Maybe you won't understand this... and we are at an impasse on it. But just as you aren't having it, this is where I stand. Except I'm happy to keep discussing it otherwise we will leave it here.
-
"Respect my culture or else you are racist!" doesn't fly with me. It's a manipulation tactic to shame someone for not doing what you want/demand of them to do.
-
@snail @nerthos It's just being consistent. If you have to respect bad music, then you must respect bad things... including bad people that disrespect you. I don't think culture is something that you must respect either, whether the virtue is because it is a culture or because you are a racist if you don't. Why should culture get a pass any more than people that disrespect you? What if the culture has a bad tradition within it? What if the culture doesn't respect you due to a rule within it?
-
If you have to respect the bad then what is the point in being good? You'll still get respect. It diminishes peoples efforts for trying to be good, or trying to create something that is good.Â
