@eal @karen Sounds like the dream!
-
@eal @karen What if it is because of the anime pic? : thinking :
-
Well there's blood in these veins,
And I cry when in pain,
I'm only human on the inside.
And if looks can deceive,
Make it hard to believe,
I'm only human on the inside.
-
Plus it doesn't help that I keep injuring myself this week. Probably going to have a bruise on my hand.
-
Nothing quite like the feeling of getting lost on a walk.
-
@roka RIP. Don't forget to de-stress!
-
@wowaname I guess not. It just seems like more stress. This is why I hide away.
I've been contemplating when to go for a walk that I've enjoyed in the past. Maybe this week coming... depending on how things are. How needed or prepared I am.
-
I don't get it when people say that socialising and exercise are supposed to make your life better. I'm just stressed out, depressed and exhausted.
-
@ayy That's not the message I've gotten throughout life.
-
I'll never be enough.
-
@lain Same. It gets tiring too.
-
@awg @detectivehyde I can't say that twitter stopped me from making long posts... just spammed more tweets at people and tried to keep the sentences a bit more concise. :') It just became the norm and didn't bother me that I had to send more tweets.
-
@dokidoki It doesn't give a chance to smooth things over either. I've been asked out privately in chat via text, had a mutual friend ask me out for another friend and once in person. I can tell you that I preferred in person most, and appreciated it best. Over text is ehh... sort of sudden. Through another, it felt more pressuring and made it public and stressful, I didn't have a chance to properly respond. Moce... what is she like?
-
@rye I know! I'm just saying... :')
-
@rye I mean, aren't the boomers just so-called because they lived in abundance after the second world war and had large families to re-populate? Big defining thing.
-
@rye Eh... it's just an arbitrary thing anyway, and doesn't properly reflect the individuals born then.
-
"Demographers William Straus and Neil Howe who are widely credited with coining the term, define millennials as born between 1982–2004. However, Howe described the dividing line between millennials and the following Generation Z as "tentative", saying "you can’t be sure where history will someday draw a cohort dividing line until a generation fully comes of age". He noted that the millennials' range beginning in 1982 would point to the next generation's window starting between 2000 and 2006."
-
@rye @xj9 It depends who you ask tbh. About millennials: "There are no precise dates for when this cohort starts or ends; demographers and researchers typically use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years."
I'd definitely fit: "Although millennial characteristics vary by region, depending on social and economic conditions, the generation has been generally marked by an increased use and familiarity with communications, media, and digital technologies."
-
"Millennials are sometimes referred to as "echo boomers" due to a major surge in birth rates in the 1980s and 1990s, and because millennials are often the children of the baby boomers."
-
@rice Yeah... it is hard. I also wonder when I will start to see some results with my workout. I am starting to feel more confident being there now though, and do try to focus... when I'm in the zone it's really moce.
