I've just realised that I tend to be more active for a holiday than usual.

It's a bit like being an omnivore or vegetarian in that sense. It's about how open you are to exploring alternatives. If you focus on meat, it's very easy to trap yourself to what is most familiar or faves while excluding all else. Exploring veganism has meant that I've had to broaden what I would normally eat since I fell into the habit I just mentioned.

@wizard Exactly. It tastes better so I feel better eating it. Plus you can avoid the extras microwave meals end up including to prolong or make them addictive.

The least effort I have to make, the better. Because it is often hard enough to get a dinner in me!

I like ingredients that you can just throw into a pan and cook together at once.

I have no problems with making vegan meals because it does add variety to what I would normally eat if I went for meat. Having a lot of chicken gets boring.

@fl0wn Surprisingly, that doesn't happen for me because meat is often quite bland. ;; But I have a bad relationship with food anyway.
