@epsiloco Yeah, sometimes I would love to just take flight or swim in the ocean and underwater... but I think that taking each step on the ground is where humans are most natural. What sets us a part is also our ability to think in the abstract, and so it is most natural for humans to have such conversations. To think and speak about life, to hunger for that connection that so many of us lack. To seek beauty and meaning in our lives, to search for the truth.

@detectivehyde I wonder what you made of my words about humans... I made two posts, one inspiring the other. :')

@rice Now I wonder if this is a problem I had since I've only really known open-plan offices.

It is most cruel to deprive humans of their ability to think, communicate and have contact. These are important to well-being. And probably why it is so effectively used often as punishment.

@detectivehyde They should be soaring high in the sky or by the water, being carried away by their wings and the wind, ruffling their feathers as they gaze with keen eyes onto the landscape before them.

I love seeing photos of birds in flight, for so many birds that can fly... it's where they are most natural... most freeing. It's beautiful to watch.
