@detectivehyde My path is indeed a slow and steady one, for now that is what suits me most. It's more drawn out with thought and reflection, and lots of rest when needed. Slowly build up a routine.
Again, I find myself back to the question of what I seek from life. Do I need more out of life than to be a wife and mother? Like when people say, make something of your life and start a career...

@detectivehyde In some ways, I do feel more in tune with myself but I still have a long ways to go yet. It's really nice just to think about the things that I get passionate about, those things that inspire me. Sometimes it is easy to get bogged down by the internal pain within me and how I react badly to things. To get confused. I'd like to think I've made some progress and that I will continue to.

I really liked playing as a good-looking, dashing, charming young man... and then getting to tease young women that took my fancy. It's very fun. I see the appeal.

@mitsu @awg Any time. I can only speak from my heart, from what your words inspired me to say. At the end of the day, I hope they haven't put you off from following your dreams. From deciding where your life steers. You can do it, if that is what you want. I hope it leads you somewhere good, where you need to be.

@awg @mitsu I know people make selfishness out to be this bad thing but it is actually a good thing. We should all be more selfish, not less. Being selfish by putting ourselves first and doing what is in our best interests is a good thing for our own sake. Make your life what you want it, don't listen to this person. For all I know, they are either saying it because they want you to remain as miserable as them because making something of your life is scary or just because you aren't doing what they want. You get to decide when and how you start making your life. I hope you do that, mitsu. That you are inspired to do that and shake off what happened. You deserve it for yourself.

@dwaltiz Haha... well, considering they already use js anyway... it would probably be more like learning how to design the new FE to behave similar to qvitter. Perhaps copying the symbols used to get the look and adding some features. But it needs someone with the time to do it who knows how to. Right now, I think it is more about releasing something stable.

Love, Romance & Chocolate by Hallmark Movies is my latest guilty pleasure movie that made me smile in the end. Emma is so pretty and down-to-earth, and learning to get out of her comfort zone by taking risks with going to a foreign country and experimenting with her own recipes. I just really like the themes and how she complements the cutie Luke to get out of his own comfort zone and experiment with his chocolates to make them even tastier. To get them perfect. They are very cute together.

@awg @detectivehyde @awl Tbh, I don't think I would have joined mastodon or pleroma, or even the classic FE with GS. If it weren't for qvitter with GS and having an instance with so few rules like SLC, I don't think I would have known about free software like I do now. I'd still be stuck on twitter, feeling miserable and not understanding why. None of you would get to know me. It's such a huge step for me to switch over, barely any of the people I knew prior came over so it was like starting all over. Orz.
