@nerthos But then again, we're not following each other here? Try in a moment.
-
@nerthos I guess not. Just this one.
-
Makes me wonder about how much we're getting when it comes to unlisted posts if follower-only posts don't work with GS/qvitter. I probably won't see follower-only posts sent my way so I wouldn't have a clue what is being said.
-
It really is like you have a plus account when you use mastodon and pleroma. Lmao.
-
I don't see any of rice's follower-only posts on GS/qvitter. I wondered about that.
-
@moonman Originally, all his posts went to https://sealion.club/user/57844 even after the conversion. It was fine. Then something happened on the 31st January to change that. Now it sends what few posts we do get over to https://sealion.club/user/113515 like it stopped recognising him and then gave him a new account which acts weirdly. I don't even know if this happened because of your conversion. Your account is fine.
-
@moonman It is very odd though... because it was fine up until the end of January. Then we just stopped getting posts, and it seems to have gone to another account but even following that doesn't work except to get posts from him when he replies to me. I think.
-
@moonman RIP. I may not remember everyone I am following from there though. ;; But it is like there are two separate accounts sometimes.
-
@xj9 I agree. I was thinking it would be better for the original post to be something akin to this but the rest merge with the thread for everyone with access to it to see. Broken public threads irritate me, worse when my normal ways to cope with it fail which is what followers-only creates.
-
Hey @moonman, I just wanted to remind you that I still don't see posts from Bricky's shitposter account over here. I'm not sure who else I am missing.
-
@xj9 It sucks how much fedi has changed since the arrival of mastodon tbh.
-
@mangeurdenuage What do you mean?
-
@xj9 How would mutuals only work?
-
Seriously, how did we reach this point on fedi?
-
It's a thread that I wouldn't normally be barred from reading since I followed the original thread user, except that all the posts work in the same way but for their different users... it breaks the threading.
-
Basically, it hurts my brain. Thanks whoever decided to implement this.
-
I really dislike followers-only threads. Because if you want to follow the conversation then you need to follow everyone involved, you can't jump to another instance to get the full thread... it's very one-sided and I feel like I miss out on so much context. It irritates me.
-
25 pages left until I reach my target for today.
-
@roka Now you mention it... me either. ;;
-
@phildobangnz What if you could worry about it all instead? xD
