@phildobangnz I appreciate the lengthy conversation, but is it okay if I stop here? I find myself disconnecting right now. Suddenly not with the conversation so it is hard to focus. ;-; -

@phildobangnz True! I mean, I was actually looking at more retired guys I think? Maybe you'll find it then. Although they were going out, playing something like pool or bowls... having a drink or two at the pub. Having a conversation. One guy did also mention that he went to help a friend out at his house too. You're probably more looking for things to do then.
I'll take that then. Although you might be surprised what people are really thinking. -

The first step I took for my mental health months ago was to start manifesting the things I had control over. If I was anxious about missing something, eating foods that were going to cause inflmannatuion, going to the gym etc, I'd take proactive steps that would actually help me turning these things into a habit. Eventually these anxiety sources disappeared in a way and I reconditioned myself to believe in my ability and willpower to take care of myself on my own, and to trust my own actions

It's interesting to look back at what I've written for each week... and just remembering that for the majority of it, I've been stressed out. I hope for a better week, but still the stress. -

I have a thick diary/book with blank sheets on my desk that I've periodically filled out by writing down "everything that causes anxiety" and categorizing these things into "things I have control over", "things I can't control".
It's incredibly interesting to look back at these entries and see what has improved, changed, disappeared completely or remained the same. It's a very powerful experience to write these thoughts down as well. I should really turn it into a habit.

Keeping an organized diary/journaling like this is actually very useful for mental health. I also doodle sometimes. Some of the doodles are very beautiful, some of them are anxious and scared. Sometimes I write down the dreams I saw and illustrate the imagery, and found some correlations with my fears and the re-occuring dreams.
