@cosullivan if you look at the content of those pip script files you’ll see most of them are very similar except the first line calls a different python interpreter. Based on my experience with it I just leave them alone. It’s not enough disk space to worry about. I could be doing it wrong.

@cosullivan the virtual env creates aliases to your system versions so I wouldn’t uninstall them. Also you probably have system utilities that depend on them being there. I’d leave the existing installs there but migrate your projects into the virtualenvs

@snowdusk_ starting tomorrow I’m going to try and post my toobnix show every day. If I make it a week I’ll record 7 days of music shows. If I make it that many days then I’ll be ready to come back. The talk that the creator of opencloud and Nextcloud gave at libreplanet was amazing. it has so much group enabling features I was unaware of! Thanks for using the calendar :-)

@cosullivan I’d switch to virtualenv because it makes life so much simpler. You don’t have to uninstall anything. Did you install pip with sudo or as root by chance? I’ve had this error when I setup everything as root and then forgot after I rebooted.

@mnw I think I had my client misconfigured. Will rest for 24 hours this other setup.

Anyone else locally on Sdf having a really slow home and local feed?

@davehunt I backed off and got a librem 15 and a Samsung s3 to install replicant on. If I can live without my iPhone then I’ll look at backing a higher end replacement phone :-) one step at a time I guess. I’ll let you know how it goes. I got to touch and hold a librem 13 so I hope the 15 is just as good quality

Was able to get a #librem15 on eBay for about 400 bucks off! Bought a galaxy s3 with the savings and should be able to be on freedom loving hardware soon ! Next on the list is a think penguin router!

@tpheine Ha ha ha That's true! I think I really only notice this occasionally, so maybe that's a better solution. Less coffeeeeeee!
