    Mast is a beautifully created app that doesn’t always do what its supposed to, WHEN it’s supposed to so you just end up fumbling toots out that you didn’t mean to send yet or block random people cuz you kept pressing things for SOMETHING to happen.

    So if anyone knows of a Mastodon app that works (and doesn’t look like vomit) please let me know. But I can’t keep bitching about this app any longer...my patience has run out. The developer isn’t of much help either...I want a refund 🤲🏾💰

    Hey kids when you're designing awesome decentralised stuff, don't forget discoverability. I mean podcasts, conceptually, are perfectly decentralised but when I ask someone about their podcast 90% of the time they tell me to look it up on iTunes.

    @bobstechsite @js IMHO, lack of decent client software is killing it, not Google or Facebook's lack of involvement.

    Google stalled things for years, by NOT dropping support and leaving a bunch of service operators unable to improve things as Google wouldn't pick up on changes, and nobody would break compatibility with Google.

    It was kinda liberating to see them fuck off.

    This retro tech YouTuber is one of the best! Nice to see something that isn't yet another retrograde & restoration!

    My sister got a C128 for her kids' first computer and I remember playing with the built in sprite editor and enhanced graphics capabilities in its BASIC but this is an excellent 6502 assembly tutorial using the built in monitor.

    And rounding up those miscreant little sprites is so cute! :blobaww:

    @msh I've been putting off watching this series because a C128 is the dream machine of my youth that I never got to own. I tend to look at ridiculously expensive things that I can't have on eBay when I see videos featuring it. 😁

    I ordered a new printer yesterday, and just plugged it in to the network and turned it on for the first time, then came back to my desk. I was greeted by a notification from my #Ubuntu desktop that my new printer was ready to use.
