@Cryoclaire Ha! I hadn't even seen there was a new update out yet!
Also, could I get a copy of Learning Russia with Grisha

@Cryoclaire Hey, cool -- not "zhivotnoga?"
@CobaltVelvet Also, welcome to the alternative food club :p
@renatolond @CobaltVelvet I haven't tried twennybars, but I've had stuff like this -- the oily feeling is probably the necessary oils to round out the "completeness" of the meal.
@fullywoolly @nolan Yeah, seriously. :p If you start posting lots about something other than web design, I may unfollow you!
@nolan Oh, you're exactly right, my mistake. At first I didn't even see the difference. :p
@Kavaeric Awesome, it's like Anubis is going "come at me, bro."
@nolan It does! Not only that, but here is Pinafore working as a desktop web app on Ubuntu 18.04: https://mcnamarii.town/media/9KJwL9Tjj-JRknp7Qs4
@nolan Looks neat on Safari mobile!
That brings me to an interesting point -- I've noticed that many of these features that are only certain browsers definitely seem to be grouped into a "Safari and Edge" group, a lot of the time. Is Edge development following Safari, vice-versa, or do they both source from a common open source project for rendering purposes?
@nolan Weirdly enough, another user I know on an iPhone 6 Plus doesn't have this issue (I do on a regular iPhone 6).
@jondavidenas A good starting point is to check to see if the Ubuntu team has certified your Dell to work with Ubuntu: https://certification.ubuntu.com/desktop/
If not, I'd stay away from installing Ubuntu on your harddrive, and just use it within a VM using something like Virtualbox.
The hassle is real. I run Ubuntu daily, but it's sometimes a real, real pain to run Linux.
So, the apache web server on one of my VMs was returning error code 418 today...? You've got to be kidding me: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2324
How the hell did this random, ancient April Fool's joke start appearing today?

Ah, the first 10 minutes of any IT meeting in a Microsoft shop: trying to get ahold of people to ask them to please check back in documents on Sharepoint so the meeting can even start.
@mykola Could you instead just wait a few weeks or so after a release? I usually wait about three, and then upgrade. By then, any post-release bugs will have been found and sqaushed.
@Nina It's a feature; not a bug!
My mastodon email blocklist:
@theoutrider I've never played any of them: I'm basing this opinion (terribly) only off of people I know who have played them.
I... I played Doom once in 1994 on DOS, and then didn't play another shooter again until Destiny, so I admit I may have missed some things.
@theoutrider This whole discussion is fascinating.
For Gears of War/Dead Rising; you're not missing much.
