Settling in to watch every episode of the Twilight Zone in order.

I believe I've seen all of them already, but it has been long enough that I only really remember the big beats.

It appears I have done alright.

Now time to load my harmony cartridge up with some game files.

I had an Atari 2600 with a damaged case and a dirty cartridge port.

Today I decided it needed to be repaired and upgraded.

I've patched the damage in the case with some epoxy, cleaned the cartridge port, recapped the board, and added a composite or to replace the on board RF.

I'm going to plug it in now and see how I did.

@frankiesaxx I hope you enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun with this one, and I think it might be my favorite so far.

I hope to have two more up before Thanksgiving, and then we're going to take a break for the month of December and do a pilot/test/special of another plot.

It should be fun.

Since we are probably going to take a break for December (and maybe Jan) from Expedition Sasquatch, I am working on a non-ES one off holiday podcast.

It will not neccisarily have a holiday theme, but it will be released over the holidays.

It may serve as a pilot/test episode for a future thing that we might revisit.

@Hanfyren there are not currently any web browsers for DOS that support tls.

Other than that, if you have a serial port and a memory expansion on your Tandy, you can load up a serial connection to another computer, and then load the website via lynx on that other computer.

Canonically, this is what Jack does.

But a text mode browser has JS disabled, and the raspberry pi that's running the text mode browser has more RAM than the xo-1.

Now to try a picture of Bigfoot.

Here are a few approximations (via DOSBox) of what this image would look like rendered on a Tandy 1000 in 16 color mode and high res 4 color mode.

This screen is pretty highly reflective, so there's some weird hotspots.

@dd_ Looks like a firefox specific issue, and a side effect of the way I did the transfer and upload. Thanks for alerting me.

Now, this isn't the best picture I could have used to demonstrate this, but it's the one I had handy.

And obviously, this is in monochrome on a green screen monitor, not in 16 colors on an RGB monitor, but as a proof of concept it doesn't matter.

When I get the rest of my Tandy gear all set up, I'll show you what this looks like that way.
