@generica I like Signal also, but I have to give my phone number in order to connect people. Wire uses usernames which imo is little more private. With close friends I use signal

@lain @karolat LDAP is a directory where you can have device or human accounts. Accounts can have attributes like name, birthday, room number or password. Devices can have attributes also. You can have a folder structure where different objects are. Then with LDAP query language you can search those attributes and one could be password. You can also allow only users in certain folder to access. Microsoft Active Directory is LDAP
