    @burek @switchingsocial This comment boggled my mind. Mastodon in a Chrome tab consumes 100MB-150MB of memory. Most of my desktop apps consume 50MB-100MB of memory.

    When did "native" start to be considered "bloated"?

    @switchingsocial I use Rambox.pro to house my Mastodon, Tweetdeck, Slack, Gitter, Hangouts, etc.

      Unser erstes Treffen wird am 2018-08-16 um 17:00 Uhr in Raum 05.00.04 (Haus 5, Erdgeschoss, Raum 04) in der EAH Jena stattfinden. Unsere Veranstaltung läuft so ab, dass es am Anfang eine kleine Vorstellungsrunde gibt. Anschließend kann jeder seine Projekte im „Show and Tell“-Format vorstellen. Danach können Teilnehmende Probleme erläutern und Lösungen erhalten. In der offenen Runde verläuft sich der Abend bei geselligem Zusammensein. Achtung: Nach 19 Uhr ist die EAH abgeschlossen. Wenn du noch rein willst, schreib uns am besten im Chat an, damit wir die Tür aufmachen können. Es gibt leider kein öffentliches WLAN, sondern nur eduroam. Wenn du also etwas präsentieren willst, versuche es besser offline zur Verfügung zu halten.

    We've added a new Do Not Track feature for our privacy concerned users! This will prevent #GetTogether from using Google Analytics, as well as social media sharing code, from every page you visit on the site.

    While this reduces functionality of the site, and it means we lose visibility on how those people are using it, privacy is an important feature for a lot of our community and we want to support their choice.

    @cloutstream You can curate a list of skills on whatever first instances go live, and use them to pre-define a set of skills that are loaded into new instances.

    I'd also recommend adding a "keywords" or similar field to your Skill record that you can populate with similary spellings, acronyms, etc, then do your lookup on that field. This would solve your "js" vs. "javascript" problem.
