This is possibly a perverse act of web design

I like doing front-end web development quite a bit; maybe even more than I like doing back-end.
It's just that what I consider good and enjoyable front-end web development is substantially askew from what the rest of the world thinks.

@Shufei There used to be a nice emacs theme called Pink Bliss that I would use for inspiration.

@Shufei I just noticed it's not *great* even on Firefox. So that's something I'll play with in the hopefully near future.

@Shufei I would probably like a pink theme sometimes; perhaps I will look into that. There are already high contrast themes (minimalist large, minimalist small, minimalist dark), though I see some of these are missing on brutaldon.online. I probably won't do holiday themes, except by accident. The red on black theme is a good idea.
I hadn't thought of testing with monospaced fonts (most themes specify fonts), but I'll bear that in mind.

@Shufei The formatting is messed up in Epiphany (another WebKit browser), too. So at least I'm able to test it.

@Shufei Hmm. That *is* odd formatting on iOS. I don't see anything like it on desktop Firefox; I should try Chrome or Epiphany, I suppose.
I'm not currently thinking of any themes...though somehow brutaldon.online is missing one or two that are in the source distribution, which I need to fix at some point. If you have theme suggestions, I'd be happy to consider them.

@ND3JR It may be the latency introduced by tor... If you can turn off javascript you could use it that way, I guess.

The purpose of Docker is not, in fact, to make things easier for us as systems administrators. It's to make it easier for the folks writing and packaging software to force you to treat the software as a black box instead of making their software easier to build, configure, and use.
I don't care if you find Docker more convenient as an open source user or developer. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance, and you're being lazy.

An awful thing about the new Eventbrite website is that if you load a page for an event, wait for the page to completely load, then switch tabs and switch back, you get a loading screen overlay???
Truly grateful for this age of Single Page Applications
