@nuhn I wouldn't recommend WP because after a while it becomes quite hard to maintain (not to mention slow.) and frequently requires upgrades that could break the DB or the theme.

I would recommend https://ghost.org if you still want to have a cms and/or can't use a static builder.

@nuhn If your interested, Hugo is a great framework for a website.

You make posts in markdown, and md has some good editors for it.

You CAN repackage deb's for Solus fairly easily however.

Solus uses eopkg, a simpler and better (imo.) package format.
