@R10T neither, I use a USB mouse most of the time. However, if i'm not using that, it's the trackpad.

I've owned my ThinkPad (and X1 Carbon) for around 18 months now following a recommendation from @popey. I honestly can't see myself ever owning another type of laptop in the future.

They're just a joy to use.

@neildarlow @meonkeys the US isn’t far behind California have the Consumer Privacy Act (which they’re currently fixing as it’s a mess), but the rest of the US will follow suite. Few more years and the whole world will be covered by similarly legislation.

I’ve had to sign up for a Twitter and Facebook account for a project I’m working on. I wanted to try and keep it all anonymous - goddam that’s hard to do!

I’ve actually had to buy a burner phone so I don’t have to use my real number. I’ve also had to upload a picture of ‘my face’ to FB (thanks to ‘This Person Does Not Exist’ for that).

I feel like I’m somehow betraying myself. I really not happy.

I’d recommend trying the snap package, it’s REALLY simple to install that way.
