many younger people might not know of the greatest FOSS-doom hack/fork, which is psdoom, a version of Doom where you run around killing the processes on your own computer http://psdoom.sourceforge.net/
Unfortunately I'm being thrown into traveling hell until just after the New Year's, all with a totally broken laptop setup (main laptop is in a state of disrepair, backup laptop takes 10min to boot and can't suspend, making on-the-go-hacking awful). I'd like to say I'll have interesting hacks to show off but that's probably not gonna happen. Sorry :\

Nextcloud's Frank Karlitschek was an early supporter of the ActivityPub standard and I remember well sitting across from him over coffee talking about how to get our projects to talk to each other. Excited to see Nextcloud friends join the fediverse!
I mean, web browsers are pretty fucked design-wise these days and Edge sucks, but the crawl towards only a single web rendering engine that's Google controlled is pretty bad
Thanks to @dthompson for giving us the nice holiday gift of podcast (enclosure) support for atom feeds in Haunt. I did my own part for the patch-gift exchange for submitting a patch upstream that adds support for RSS feeds, too.
So why haven't we seen the merge of existentialism and conspiracy theories happen yet under the guise that *nothing* is real, because reality is an illusion
