i oft recite this when I'm depressed and stuck staring blankly at a screen because i can't do anything to completion, or push like I could when I was younger.

this has fundamentally changed how I work, with my newly acquired feelings in my 30s, I'm actually capable of functioning again. I know what my peek looks like, I know the crazy shit I've pulled off, and the perfection I've striven for. That's not every day, and that's OK.

I chose 'life' last night to camp out with my daughter, busy as hell this morning with some pretty cranky folks on my back about it. worth it IMO, we had a great time and it wasn't really postpone-able to fit in between exploding servers.

Their approach to BAT creating "ghost" accounts for creators and displaying ads on their behalf is kinda gross. Especially since "unclaimed" tokens expire after a while. They also have a history of locking creators out of their "earned / unclaimed" BAT for not passing or be willing to pass their KYC.

on CPUs: Phoronix benchies showing 18% average performance gain since Epyc release as newer kernels are released, whereas intel is down about 12% from where they were before having to implement security mitigations.

on GPUs: AMD has been using SR-IOV to carve up GPUs which gives each vgpu its own PCI ID that can be passed directly to a guest, vs. the clusterfuck of GRID drivers + licensing daemon in linux.
