@GreenandBlack I have a long garden but it's a bit of a mess at present because I haven't had the time or spoons to deal with it this year. I'm just getting it sorted at present to start growing a few more things.
It's really too big for one person on their own to deal with, though, and it's not an easy garden - it's on a hillside so it's terraced.
@hollyamory Also, the size of the fish and chip shop. A tiny roadside hut with a queue out of the door will always offer better food than a big restaurant.
@hollyamory So many local businesses are cutting back their hours. I wonder if economic conditions are something to do with it.
The fish and chip shop near my house is only open Weds-Fri now, it used to be Tues-Sat.
Having said that, I don't know about where you live, but in Yorkshire there is an inversely proportional relationship between the opening hours of a chip shop and the quality of the food provided.
@medusa Is this directed at someone here on social.coop? I already blocked one person for regular un-CWed mentions of that word when talking about IT privacy issues (I think, a lot of their toots are angry and unclear).
@Owen_Roberts LBC is the mouthpiece of the likes of Nigel Farage and Jacob Rees-Mogg. When they employ that kind of person as a presenter, why should anyone listen to anything said over their airwaves?
If a new user comes on here, starts posting, makes a comment that is then jumped on by trolls, "sea lions" and the like they will probably switch it off and go back to Facebook.
We need voices on here that reflect the diversity of the real world, not just affluent white web developers and IT people.
