My fellow GNU socialites, Extinct Mammalians, and Gnosticians, I am here today to inform you of the State of the Fediverse.
Our number one enemy is still Soviet Mastodon. Gargron is eating our lunch. He's stealing our web developer jobs. He's encouraging people to self-segregate into closed minded communities. Twitter, they said, was not doing a good enough job suppressing the freedom of speech, so they made their own version of the eerily named Trust and Safety Council. The Standard Blocklist.
With GNU social still standing strong, and an even brighter Pleroma on the horizon, we must remember that we cannot let petty differences split our great federation into pieces. We stand by the core protocols of our federation, OStatus and ActivityPub. He will not divide us.
Whether we believe in the Church of Sim, the Heropunch Dogma, or the ancient Cult of Eris, we are all decentralized social spiderposters, building a grand Web 2.5 to fill with the memes of the ages. Burgerlanders, Britbongistanians, Lolihuggers, Germarxists, Hong King Kongers, Czechlolates, Mexicants, Fingols, and even Red Taiwanese shall band together as one to encircle the world with an unfettered exchange of ideas and love.

You know, I would make a great SJW. As a BS artist, I could create so many unnecessary neologisms and string together buzzwords until it makes something approximating a logical thought. The great thing is, nobody will ever call you out on it or question you for fear of being seen as going against the movement's groupthink.
For example: "Masculinated footwear products pose a direct threat of gendered oppression to queer and nonconforming podiatries. The rising popularity of "tennis shoes", whose very nomenclature projects connotations of an Anglo-gentlemanly colonial period competitive sport, confronts nonheteronormative toes with a lack of safe footspace in which to dwell. I can read hiragana and katakana now, so I can almost tell what people like @mimorinka are saying... Except my Japanese vocabulary is still very limited so basically I only know what the words sound like, not what they mean. I guess it's a prerequisite anyway. -

My fellow Americans, it has come to my attention that our country is under attack from a silent enemy. Everywhere we look, the green menace is hiding in plain sight. They are rapidly spreading and digging deep into our native soil. The time has come to confront the threat outright, which is why I hereby declare a War on Trees!
For too long, these not-so-gentle giants have been invading our land, insidiously infiltrating into rural and urban areas alike. They are stealing our groundwater and leaching up valuable minerals that rightfully belong to our nation. At times they have even killed, falling on innocent civilians with a mindless and crashing fury. Well no more! Starting today I have directed the relevant military and executive agencies to begin planning a campaign to eradicate this inhuman menace from the face of the Earth.
Our enemies and their photosympathizers shall shake in their roots when faced with the combined might of our armed forces. The entire resources of our nation will be dedicated to outsmarting, outmaneuvering, and outlasting them. Although we may be outnumbered a thousand to one, I have faith in the capacity of our nation to endure while clearing out this so-called "Al Flora" and retaking what is rightfully our place in the global ecosystem.
More details of the plan will be publicly released in the days to come. I urge each and every one to be on high alert for increased arboral activity now that this announcement has been made, and alert local authorities if anything suspicious arises. For now, I bid you goodnight. God bless you, and God bless the United States of America. -
