@GreenZeta Except that it seems to have weakened rather quickly once it landed in Florida. Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't it supposed to be Cat5 still? It's a 2 last I heard.

@Combaticus The last couple of years I've taken a couple of long weekend trips in the spring and schedule a week off during the mid to late summer. With part of the week off being stay at home and relax, the rest going on an adventure.

@Combaticus I got to properly play "tourist" in Portland. And I didn't get accosted by any crazy Dimension-B people. I guess I blended in well enough. The Japanese Garden was my favorite thing I did. The trip reminded me that my life needs more adventures (preferably cheap ones).

I'm kinda back. Had a nice vacation recently. Back to work last week. Still listening. Don't know what else to say.

@Johncdvorak Regarding your fountain pen discussion on DHUnplugged, I like the Kaweco Sport pens. Cartridge only, not too expensive, and they are easy to use for me. Just don't leave them uncapped or they dry out easily.

@schestowitz I call BS. How does a hosting provider hold your website hostage? No backups that can be moved to another hosting provider? That's poor practice. Snopes can't be that big of a website to move. It is mostly text that I would think would just be a simple database. Why would the hosting provider keep it up? Are they asserting copyright? If so they seem to have a scammy hosting provider and a crappy lawyer. But what do I know, I'm just a talking beer milkshake.
