Probably can't get slapped under GDPR if your customers agree to you selling their data, rather than the data accidentally leaking. Non-customers (read: innocents) on the other hand.. -

You could probably terminate it with NULL not "", depending on the API. Other than that, nothing terribly out of the ordinary. args_c.data() or &args_c[0] to get a const char** out of it -
