Because, Currently (A Weather Cock for the NEW TAB option on chrome died, and I had something else in the past that worked, that also died, I tried to figure out how to make my own weather clock HTML page. I gave it a whirl, and am satisfied that this Old fart can still have some fun learning things.
I'm patting myself on the back for being able to figure this out, BTW. Since I'm not any kind of expert.
If you want the code for yourself here's the link to it.

Imagine if a pair of human eyes appeared, looking around the screen, whenever you were being tracked on the Internet. I think it would suddenly make everyone hyper-aware of how much they're being monitored.
Because some of the Time and Date web sites crap out over time, like Currently, etc, etc... I decided to give making my own Clock and Weather HTML page. It still needs some work. But I'm kind of proud of myself to be able to have hacked this out in about an hour or so, given that I've not played around with web site creation in some time.
βStarting with Chrome 69, logging into a Google Site is tied to logging into Chrome.β Ugh, so *thatβs* what happened, I noticed this recently & was confused how I managed to log into Chrome. I . . . donβt like this.
- a microSD card weighs somewhere around 0.4g - the highest capacity microSD that's easily available is 256GB - a trebuchet can throw a 90kg projectile over 300m
90kg worth of microSD cards is 225,000 of them
Therefore a trebuchet can throw 57.6PB of data over 300m
This would have the highest throughput of any telecommunications network ever created
I understand. - Not that I've been active on building or maintaining any of my blogs. But I figured a few years ago to just do a Blogger Blogs and let Google handle the spam BS. Sure there's pro's and con's to whatever blogging tool you use.
Why do you want to remove comments? Comments allow people to give you feedback. Have a conversation. Granted you'll get spam or bots from time to time.
This week on GNU World Order, my thoughts on Jeff Bigler's blog post from 22 years ago about why nerds and "normal" folk sometimes clash when communicating.
