@Elizafox also for me at least...
Trying to be insightful or thought provoking: crickets
Post random picture of bunny, kitty or puppy: notifications galore!
As said by the man himself :blobross:
Talent is a pursued interest. Anything that you're willing to practice, you can do.
(If mastodon.cloud doesn't have the "blobross" emoji by now they should add it STAT lol)
@doctorow I read this as I took a sip of my morning covfefe and I almost snorted it through my nose ๐
@pixelpaperyarn @TheGibson I can confirm this--at least if you also don't consume sugar replacements instead (even stevia tastes really sweet if you haven't been eating anything sweet for awhile)
@krruzic I assumed for #yyc residents that wx.ca was the go-to current / historical weather page...I think it has been around longer than Google :blobtonguewink:
@sireebob @ElfLord the tech thing that makes me go :blobthinkingcool: is...
who or what mysterious entity decides what gets pinned automatically to the start menu? I bet it's the same as who / what decides gets pinned to the start screen of mobile chrome...
like...I'd open this one thing 12 times a day and it never gets pinned. Then I open this other thing like 3 times a year and it decides it *needs* to be pinned there. right. now.
Front and centre.
Mocking me.
@sireebob I guess they figured if it was a trash bin when you emptied it the bits would all get buried in a landfill and you would eventually run out of bits, like maybe we would hit "peak bits" or something.
If you empty the recycle bin your used bits get sent to the "bit-tle depot" and get scrubbed up nice and shiny and you get them back all ready to be filled with new data.
@h @tek If Pink Floyd had their own peertube that would be perfection
but YouTube is a very good start

@dosnostalgic before the beginning there was CP/M :blobcheeky:
@mike it is probably one of those "combo lists" that combines data from multiple breaches, because the passwords come from around the same era but from multiple sites . . . yahoo, MySpace, pre-MSFT LinkedIn etc.
@mike based on the several nearly identical emails I received they seem to be using MySpace data from something like 10 years ago. The MySpace account I had was deactivated before that site was even breached :blobtonguewink:
@ink_slinger @allan ...Leela is not a high profile MLA but is a pretty reasonable person and conducts herself respectably and consistently. Given Derek's baggage I'm not convinced he could draw enough votes to cause a split that would alter the outcome.
@ink_slinger @allan This guy lives in what will be the same riding as my parents after re-districting, and he is having a temper tantrum about not being able to contest the nomination with Leela Aheer, the incumbent MLA for my parent's riding that is disappearing next year.
Although many of his views align with much of his constituency, local voters are quite embarrassed at his conduct in recent years...
@bunnylyn can pancake haz maple syrup?
nomnomnom!
@hackerfriendly you know if Apple could do it and still have their stuff "just work" they would be potting all the electronics inside every iThing and macPuter they sold.
And they would use some sort of special patented exclusive epoxy to do it.
@Elizafox @a_breakin_glass making a #dadjoke about mints doesn't make it any more refreshing :blobcheeky:
