We had a couple of Corvids make the Colorado spruce in our front yard their hangout one year and the wild bunnies liked to play with them (or pester them? I'm not sure...sometimes bunnies can be jerks :blobtonguewink: )

The bunnies would binky all over the front yard while the birds squawked until finally the birds would dive bomb them and the bunnies would scoot away.

Often what's in the yard is better than what on TV.

@thatgeoguy @ink_slinger I'm still trying to figure out this myself. It doesn't feel like my work has the purpose it did before this shit hit the fan. I wonder if it would be easier to be a delivery person or janitor or stocking shelves at a grocery store or something.

Such "unskilled" jobs are undervalued and disrespected by society, but they have a real purpose. They really matter.

@ink_slinger I'm introverted by nature, and have gone stretches working (or looking for work) from home a few times, so I'm able to mostly adjust.

Even so, it still isn't easy. And before there were a lot more options to provide temporary escape. This is...different.

Hang in there though. We are lucky to be in a prosperous nation and will connected to each other. It's time to be social from a distance, not socially distant :blobpats:

Since it makes everything look like it was shot with a GoPro HERO the stuff you actually DO make with your GoPro will look really professional.

@vfrmedia I would probably do something goofy like set up an openVPN server on a cheap VPS from somewhere like OVH. Then on a little router box in the office and on a notebook or mobile set up openvpn clients.

Then for remote access just connect to vpn and use normal RDP or VNC as if you were local.

But...I'm not a normal person and normal people probably would find that far too involved.

@thegibson Can't say I'd call my setup a "battle station" but it works for me. I like a relatively calm and tranquil environment.
