@UberGeek yep, pain git. I have a local repo, want to push to my server because ftp and ssh are disabled at work. I want to keep some remote copies of projects, but not in public on GitHub. I think I just need to set up an ssh account for the server, right?

Anyone have experience setting up git on a self hosted server? I needed it to recognize remote repo, but I can't seem to get the configuration right.

Looking for some advice - I've installed Synology Drive on my machine, and the system tray icon is HUGE (screen shot below). Anyone come across this before, and know how to fix it? I don't get sick often, so when I do, I feel like I'm lacking a fundamental adult skill of how to deal with feeling like death.

@kev @mike nano was the first I'd used. Once, I found myself in vi, wondering why I couldn't type anything and not knowing how to get out.

I closed the terminal session and walked away for a while.

I should've taken a sick day.

@Zulgrib No, I do a lot on remote servers and it's much easier to SSH into an internal environment than to call the other guys to open their screens and look at issues.

Salon is offering to allow adblockers on their site if you allow _them_ to mine bitcoin "using extra processing power."

It's really frustrating that SSH is blocked at work.

@Downes @ton That's awesome. I just downloaded and am playing with the Github code...That screenshot looks great. Are you planning on pushing an update to GH in the near future? I'd love to be able to tinker with the updated version.

@gcupc I use Pi Jukebox and it's great. Runs over wifi to cloud accounts and the option to cast if I want to. Based on MPD, has an easy web-based UI running locally on your network.
